I am a junior Public Health major with a minor in Health Humanities. When I first came to SU, I explored several majors before discovering Public Health during my sophomore year. As a student-athlete on the Track and Field team, I have always been passionate about health, and my interest in communication and connecting with others made Public Health a natural fit. I serve as the Co-President of Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG), the Public Health Education Honorary Society. I am also a Presidential Citizen Scholar (PCS) and a member of the Anti-Tobacco and Nicotine Truth Initiative. These experiences have helped me grow professionally, expand my network, and connect with people from diverse backgrounds. My goal is to become a program coordinator or evaluator and use my passion for public health to make a meaningful impact. If you have any questions about Public Health, ESG, PCS, or communicating about health-related issues, please feel free to reach out! I would love to connect and have a conversation with you!

As a senior Respiratory Therapy major and a non-traditional student, I bring a unique perspective shaped by both personal experience and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities students encounter throughout higher education. I have always wanted to pursue a career in medicine, which would allow me to work closely with patients while developing expertise in critical care across both adult and pediatric populations, as well as providing opportunities to work with advanced medical technology. After exploring various health care professions, Respiratory Therapy aligned best with my goals because of its specialized, hands-on role in patient care. Since choosing this path, I have had the opportunity to serve as President of the Respiratory Therapy Club, complete a summer internship at a Level I Trauma Center in downtown Baltimore, and be featured in SU Today for my experiences and accomplishments as a Respiratory Care student. I am excited to serve as a CHHS Advisory Board member and contribute to the continued growth of the College of Health & Human Services.

I am a senior at 富二代视频app University majoring in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS). I originally began as a biology major on the pre-med track, but I quickly discovered that I excelled in the laboratory setting and enjoyed the excitement of hands-on hypothesis testing. This experience ultimately led me to switch my major to Medical Laboratory Science. Along the way, I also discovered that research is my passion, which has inspired me to pursue a PhD. On campus, you can often find me at the library’s research help desk. Off campus, I work as a certified pharmacy technician in my hometown. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the MLS program, research opportunities, or ways to get involved on campus!

I am a senior majoring in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS). I chose this major to better understand the laboratory’s behind-the-scenes contributions to patient care and healthcare. As a Patient Care Technician in the ER, I see one side of the clinical picture through direct patient care. I’ve always been curious about what happens in the laboratory and how diagnostic testing directly informs interventions, medications, and treatment decisions. Outside of school, I volunteer as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and youth mentor, experiences that have given me valuable insight into navigating the civil court system while supporting children in need. Following graduation, I hope to work in a core laboratory, where I can perform diagnostic testing, contribute to transfusion medicine, and support physicians in delivering quality patient care. I plan to pursue higher education and work toward earning my M.D. I’m excited for the opportunity to work with my peers and contribute to other students’ academic experiences through the CHHS Student Advisory Board! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the MLS program—I’d be happy to help!
